2022 ROK-N Cruise Training Task Group (CTTG) hosted a 

dinner on board the ship Hansando(Acting Abbot: Ven. Seolwoo)

On October 31, 2022, Rear Admiral Gang Donggu, 

the Republic of Korea Navy Cruise Training Task Group 

commander hosted a dinner on board the ROK-N Ship 

Hansando docked at Garden Island Naval base, City of Sydney, 

New South Wales, Australia. Sin Seongan and Lee Heeyon,

representing the Jongbopsa's lay community, as well as Ven. 

Seolwoo, the acting abbot of Jongbopsa, were invited by 

Rear Admiral Gang to participate in the dinner to promote 

the friendship between Korea and Australia by delivering a 

message of gratitude to Australian veterans who fought for 

Korea during the Korean War. "I thank the brave Navy sailors 

devoting their lives to fulfill their duties to the country and its 

citizens/said Ven. Seolwoo/1 pray for the safe passage home, 

after the successful conclusion of the cruise training"
