Gift of rice to the Philippine families living in the slum

Twice a month from August 2021 to May 2022, the LA 

Tahlmahsa in CA, USA (Abbot: Ven. Geumseon) sponsored 

breakfast for children living in the Philippine slums, and 

concluded its compassionate act in the Philippines by gifting 

20kg of rice to 60 households. From July 2022, LATahlmahsa 

has been helping a school in Sagaing, a city in MyanmarLocated within a 

Buddhist temple, this school has become a refuge for about 400 

people, including the infants still on baby formula, children, and 

adults who came to the school to escape the ravages of the 

civil war. For one year, the LATahlmahsa will donate monthly to the school
