From September 2022, all Jogye order monks and nuns 

什om the Special Overseas District will be able to stay at 

the Jogye-sa lemplestay dormitory for 什ee for up to one 

week when they visit Korea. Jogye-sa Temple (abbot: 

Ven. Jihyeon)zs generosity was much appreciated by the 

monastics propagating Korean Buddhism abroad as 

they often have difficulty finding a place to stay when 

they visit Korea for medical or administrative purposes. 

Reservation should be made two weeks in advance 

through the Office of the Special Overseas District via 

email (kwansem@buddhism.or.kr) or Kakaotalk (+82-10- 

4400-6855).The office will make a prior notice in the case 

of no available rooms at Jogye-sa Templestay
