해탈의 향을 지극한 정성으로 예경하여 올립니다.

계정혜 참다운 향기 / 향로에 서리어서 사르는 이 순간

중생들의 악업이 소멸되어 / 해탈의 선정에 / 어서 올라지이다.

오직 바라옵건대 여러 조사님이시여, 이 공양을 받으소서.(일배)

Offering of Incense

We are offering the scent of emancipation to the Three Jewels with the utmost devotion and homage.

At the moment when the incense is smoking, the genuine scent of keeping the precepts, of our meditation and of our wisdom is rising from the burner. May all sentient beings’ evil karmas disappear. May all sentient beings promptly attain the meditation of emancipation. We most earnestly desire that the Three Jewels will receive this offering.

2. 차 공양

차공양

일심정례 하옵고 지극한 정성으로 감로차를 올립니다.

백가지 차 잎과 / 꽃술을 모아 / 맑은 물 옥사발에 달여/

감로의 청정한 차를 / 공양하오니 /

이 공덕 무량하여 / 선정의 맑은 차에 / 지혜광명 드리우사 / 일체중생 성불하여지이다.

오직 바라옵건대 여러 조사님이시여, 이 공양을 받으소서 (일배)

Offering of Tea

We are paying homage to the Three Jewels in one mind and offering the sweet dew tea with the utmost devotion. The sweet dew tea is brewed with a hundred of tea leaves, stamens, and pistils of the flower in the jade bowl. We are offering this clean tea to the Three Jewels. May the merit of this tea be boundless. The light of wisdom lighting up the meditation of clean tea, may all sentient beings realize Buddha hood. We most earnestly desire that the Three Jewels will receive this offering.

3. 등 공양

등공양

반야의 등을 지극한 정성으로 예경하여 올립니다.

등불이 / 자신을 녹이면서 / 어둠을 밝혀 주듯이

제가 / 이제 스스로 등잔이 되어 / 중생들의 어두운 마음에 빛이 되려 하오니

악업은 멸하고 / 복덕이 무량하여 반야의 대지혜에 어서 올라지이다.

오직 바라옵건대 여러 조사님이시여, 이 공양을 받으소서.(일배)

Offering of the Lamp

We are offering the lamp of profound wisdom with the utmost devotion and homage. Like the lamp burns itself and lightens darkness, now we want to be a lamp for ourselves and to become light for sentient beings’ dark minds. May all sentient beings’ evil karmas disappear. May sentient beings’ luck and virtues be endless and sentient beings attain the great profound wisdom quickly. We most earnestly desire that the Three Jewels will receive this offering.

4. 과일

공양

과일공양

지혜의 과일을 지극한 정성으로 예경하여 올립니다.

어려운 / 고난 속에서도 / 향기롭고 맛있는 / 열매를 맺은 뒤

앙상한 가지만 간직하는 / 한 그루의 과일 나무처럼

저희가 지은 공덕 /바라는 마음 없이 / 모든 이웃에게 회향하나이다

오직 바라옵건대 여러 조사님이시여, 이 공양을 받으소서(일배)

Offering of Fruit

We are offering the fruit of wisdom with the utmost devotion and homage. Like the fruit tree bears delicious and sweet smelling fruit despite of various hardships, and after that, it keeps only thin branches, we give our entire merits to our neighbors without any expectation. We most earnestly desire that the Three Jewels will receive this offering.

5. 꽃 공양

꽃공양

만행의 꽃을 지극한 정성으로 예경하여 올립니다.

이 세상 만물 가운데 / 가장 아름답고 / 향기로운 꽃처럼

우리는 각 각 다른 성품과 다른 모습을 지니고 있으니/

거룩하신 부처님의 제자로서/ 불국정토에/ 아름다운 꽃을 피워 / 장엄하게 하여지이다.

오직 바라옵건대 여러 조사님이시여 이 공양을 받으소서.(일배)

Offering of Flower

We are offering the flower of ten thousands practices with the utmost devotion and homage. Like the flower which smells the best fragrance and is most beautiful in the world, each of us has the different nature and the different figure. As the follower of the Holy Buddha, may we decorate the Buddha Land being in blooming beautiful flower.

We most earnestly desire that patriarchs, the Three Jewels will receive this offering.

6. 쌀 공양

쌀공양

지극한 정성으로 선열의 미를 예경하여 올립니다.

한 방울의 물에도 / 천지의 은혜가 스며있고 / 한 톨의 곡식에도 /

일체중생의 무한한 공덕이 담겨져 있습니다

이제 부처님 전에 / 백미로서 / 정성껏 공양 올리오니 /

이 공덕 시방세계 회향되어 / 선열의 대해 이루어지이다.

오직 바라옵건대 여러 조사님이시여 이 공양을 받으소서.(일배)

Offering of Rice

We are offering the rice of delight of meditation with the utmost devotion and homage. Kindness of the earth and heaven permeates in the one drop of water. Endless good deeds of all sentient beings are contained even in the single grain. Now we are offering white rice to the Buddha with the utmost devotion. May merit of this offering pervade worlds of ten directions and may it form the ocean of delight of meditation. We most earnestly desire that the Three Jewels, patriarchs will receive this offering.
